I think it’s a nice community to meet other djs. I hear a lot of new tracks there and people are good about sharing their bootlegs and edits. You also can get good feedback from people. I just moved to Colorado a few months ago from Florida and it’s a good way to chill with my buddies back east that I mixed with. I played in one of their “online festivals” a couple weeks ago and had twenty+ in my room, one guy in Croatia and another in Hong Kong. As a total bedroom dj that was pretty exhilarating. Another positive is that if you’re stuck doing work or mindless crap I’d rather listen to somebody play live over pandora, soundcloud or the *cough*radio. It’s like a personal dj while I wash my car or fold laundry.
