Participant@djrizki The apc’s look nice, but I think I would like the larger buttons /setup on the launchpad more. Thanks though!
@Terry_42 Thanks a lot for that insight. I think I’ve made the decision to pickup a launchpad with Ableton. If all goes well I’ll start with the remixes and such which could kickstart me into a better understanding of production as wellIf anyone has anything else that they think would be useful it would be much appreciated!

ParticipantAlso, I should probably add that I’m not really looking to produce totally different songs, but more to use/sample other songs to turn them into my own. Thank you for the above reply^, but are controllers necessary, or just nice to have?

ParticipantHey man I’m 15 years old, been djing for 6 months (jeeze, has it really been that long already? haha) and I play the drums. I’m currently focusing on mixing hip hop, and dubstep mashups. If you wanna check out some of my work from a little bit ago, check out MrLittlerSmith on youtube! 😀

ParticipantI’ve played the drums for upwards of two years now, and I do have to say that learning rhythm and counting through there has really, reeeaaally helped with djing.
