MemberI’m laughing yet really angry at the same time at how many votes “DJ Pauly D” is getting from the people who watch jersey shore, at least on the american top dj list. All in all these things are just popularity contests. I only voted for the ones who’ve influenced/inspired me the most.

you lost me at DAW 😳 haha (googles it) ahhh… I use ableton and reason 5. That oxygens not bad.. Although I’m not sure if I want one that big. I’m more inclined to a medium sized one. 32 keys is all I think I’ll need, but ya never know..
Just pokin around the internet today I came across an edirol pcr 30, looked nice. But the only one on amazon is 200 used … I can’t find much on it either. So the search continues. A point to a good review site/ buyers guide/ midi forum, something like that, would be helpful.:)

Memberi used to find the people complaining about EDM going mainstream crazy. I love sharing music with the world. But then the EDM scene in my town changed. It went mainstream. Gone are the PLUR days. It’s city punks, club rats, pissed off wannabe gangsters, who all go just to get drunk and mack on girls. They fight, cause problems, and ruin peoples nights. The kandy ravers and people who go for the music are fewer and farther between.
What I’m getting at, is yes it can be just music. I wish it would stay that way. But unfortunately the mainstream can’t handle it. They take the stereotype and run with it. Now every time I hear a hip-hop song with an EDM beat I die a little inside.
Trance however, seems to be safe. House is lost as far as I’m concerned. And next up is dubstep.mr_john
Membercouldn’t tell yeah… haha I simply don’t like the way numark does the play, pause, and cue buttons. so there’s my 2 cents.:p

MemberAlright here’s my settings for VDJ with a mixtrack + audio 2dj, using internal sound for master out and the audio 2 for cueing…
Inputs = none
Outputs = set to headphones, Master: first card/ Headphones: second card
Sound card = set to 2 cards, card 1: built in output, card 2: Audio 2mr_john
Memberhmmm.. well I was using VDJ home and LE and had no problems running off internal for main and external for cueing. I’ll hook up sometime tomorrow and see how I set it all up again. I remember it being confusing and somewhat bassakwards I think I just sorta stumbled upon it actually haha.
mr_john
MemberI’m using VDJ. As I recall, setting it up was a little strange, but I did get it to work

Membernot gonna pretend to be an expert here.. But as I recall there should be a setting for using 2 cards somewhere in the options. Set one to internal (built in) the other to external. Not sure if it works the same way with a pro. But I use a mixtrack and an audio dj card. I use my laptops card for the mix and the card for cueing simply because I only have 1 jack.

I think this game pretty much sums up what a joke U.S. Soccer is. I’m sorry if this offends any U.S. Soccer fans here, but European soccer is at a whole different caliber
sad game. sad, sad game.. I barely watched any of it, came it at 0-3, left somewhere just after 0-4
It really is difficult to watch a european team play on tv and then go to an MLS game. But I enjoy it nonetheless. It really is like the difference between a high school team and a professional team. But still fun to watch. It has certainly improved quite a lot in a relatively short time though.

Memberso very difficult to say… Well the first that come to mind in no particular order are V for vendetta, superbad, public enemies, little miss sunshine, annnndd… oh yeah, Looking for Eric
mr_john
Membergood luck with your mapping and all that… I would like to change some things about my leds but I don’t know the first thing about that. All I did so far was add a little white stripe to the knobs and faders. Worked better than expected.

Membereverything is permitted… like that. But yeah I for one love when someone mixes 2 genres that you’d never think in a million years would work together. As long as it’s done well. Perhaps a dubstep remix of the fresh prince song… (opens ableton)

Memberellaskins aka Jonathan is my tutor… haha. well I’d be interested in taking a class or 2 actually. Just don’t want to pay money to some muppet who doesn’t know what they’re doing, or pay way too much money.

Memberdon’t they play their 2nd squads and what not? That’s what i thought they did. Just to keep it interesting
