ParticipantGood advice, you do get a lot of bang for your buck with these controllers and I think for my needs mine will last me a long time. I’m doing some small parties with mine next few months and feel confident in it. I wouldn’t feel averse to taking it to play in a bar/small club either. Plenty of features and great sound quality.

ParticipantHa ha ha ha ha, I’m afraid he’s right although I’ve done this a couple of times myself, they are really low profile hence I said I’d prefer them a little higher.

ParticipantYep…as Terry said. That’s all it does, there’s no turning off the pitch bend function of the jogwheel sides. I know some have this instead of being dual functional but I prefer it this way.

ParticipantHi djrizki, no there’s no ” vinyl button ” on there. What is it that you feel you need one for ? What are you trying to do my friend ?

ParticipantHi,
Thanks I’m still struggling to get some time in on it but really enjoying every minute so far, it just works. The one thing I would maybe say is that I’d like the jog wheels to have sat a little higher like pioneer’s do but having no problems beat matching so that’s probably a slight preference thing. Although Serato is what it is and performs well (HP laptop by the way) I prefer the waveforms on mixvibes cross and the track preview feature that Serato doesn’t seem to have ? Mods…. Would it be OK to state where I ordered it from ?May 10, 2014 at 11:19 pm in reply to: Pioneer DDJ-SB with Serato upgrade or Reloop Beatmix 4 #2030083Andrew Haywood
ParticipantSooooo..received my Beatmix 4 yesterday, site that I got it from were really good(dunno if I can mention which one) having a 3 week old baby I haven’t had much chance to play yet but so far I’m really impressed. Nice jogs and faders, lovely pads and it seems tight with the software. I can’t see how you would get better features or build for the money I’m a happy man.

ParticipantTrue !
After a little cajoling my long suffering but generous wife has agreed to let me order one…….excitings !!!May 5, 2014 at 10:22 am in reply to: Pioneer DDJ-SB with Serato upgrade or Reloop Beatmix 4 #2026590Andrew Haywood
ParticipantThanks Terry. I am leaning towards the Beatmix because of the four channels, I just wasn’t sure mostly because of jogwheel quality and didn’t want to think I would be missing out if I didn’t go with the Pioneer.
