when i started it was techno,just techno(no “hands up” stuff)-today its progressive psytrance,psytrance,darkpsy,i can`t stand nowadays “techno”,only things i listen to technowise is chris liebings CLR stuff,there are a few artists that produce really good tracks but the rest is dumping at 128bpm and riding the minimal train which i really hate..for me minimal is music for a cocktail bar but not to dance .-) also the “psy” scene is much more open to different styles than the techno scene nowadays which has its “heroes” but somehow techno stands still in my opinion.
@Rob Francis:Michael Mayer,Superpitcher? im coming from Cologne,Germany where the Kompakt Headquarters are,Kompakt was my favourite recordstore in the Vinyl Days,spent many hours(and money)there .-)
