ParticipantLiterally just drag it to iTunes, right click and convert to mp3. Just make sure your settings are set to 320kbs or whatever your heart may desire.

Starting in Feb, I’ll have 2 monthly parties and regularly make appearances at a number of other clubs and bars in the city. There’s the Bangkok Boat Party, Irie Beatz @ CafĂ© Democ, Sideshow Kuts @ Nest, reggae nights at Wikee bar. I used to play Bass culture music at Bed Supperclub on Saturdays, but they decided to hire a commercial Dj instead.
At the end of July, I’ll be moving to NYC. My partner is originally from Philadelphia, so I reckon I’ll be making regular trips there on the weekends and holidays.
Philly Is a great place once you get past all of the sh*t its got in it, great people to make great connections with.

Participantdo the gig but try and get some money out of the school for bringing alll of your equipment ,sounds like they don’t wanna spend any money on a dj.

ParticipantIm a sucker for Delays, usually during breaks when there isn’t much going on. Careful with the parameters bc if you set them wrong it may just sound like your train-wrecking.

ParticipantOne and done is my philosophy

ParticipantI personally like having an analog mixer to adjust my PA system to the sound of the room(EQs and levels), I also like the mic pre-amps over my controllers, it is extra weight to some people but when your running 3 or more PA’s its nice to have complete control over everything right at your finger tips. Now this could be my opinion but certain mixers just give your signal some warmth that I haven’t seen come out digital ones. We use a Roland M-300 at my job and at the end of the day digital mixers can only try their best to replicate analog ones.
