Amen Daryl. The only issue these days is finding a sitter to watch my kids. Other than that, you’re only as old as you feel!!

    Copied from the Numark forums:
You will need to go to VDJ ‘config’ and set up master playback: output 1&2/ Headphones(preview monitor) 3&4 once both devices are recognized by the computer. The mixtrack is plug and play but the DJIO will need a driver. The current drivers are listed here.

The mixtrack is just a controller. All audio will be going to and from the Dj IO.
    Google is your friend!!

What type of speakers with what type of connections? Some stereo/hifi speakers don’t have rca connectors on the back so you may need a tuner to run the dj i/o into.

Same here. Only have found the free version which doesn’t support controller use, only keyboard-mouse. If you have a link, that would be greeeaaatt!!

I just recently purchased the N4 as well. If you have any external gear (turntables or CD players) you may want the N4. I have quite an extensive older vinyl collection and the N4 lets me incorporate that into my sessions. Like Frosh mentioned, the N4 will give you 4 deck control in Traktor or VDJ. You may want to check out the Reloop Terminal Mix 4 as well. Supposed to be in the same price range as the N4 but offers more buttons. I added an LPD8 for cuepoint triggering.

Can you link to some mixes that you’ve done? Curious to see the style differences. Heard a DJ in Vegas slam pop songs/remixes all night. No greater than 1.5 to 2 minutes of any track and the dancefloor never did build and he actually got booed a few times.
