Memberim in the same boat as broomptish as an aspiring djay using controllers, i personally prefer ean goldens controllerism style to moldovers but both are amazingly talented djs and musicians and have contributed a lot to the art form as it is now

Membertry re import the mapping and if that doesnt work then you may have to map the feautres yourself which isnt to hard there are loads of youtube videos on traktor control mapping

Membereveryone likes different i personally like traktor but my advise would be get demos for all and see for yourself
michael133
Memberi personally mix in with purely the low eq and using the filter but in the past have read advise that no eq should really go past 3 o’clock position
michael133
Membereveryone starts out sounding bad when they try to progress but its the time and effort taken hell ive been djaying for 7 months but producing for 2 years and im still not confident enough to step out the bedroom as i no playing one track into the next just sounds basic but i mess around with effects to try see what sounds alright its just a time thing, check out ean goldens youtube videos or moldover between them they basically invented controllerism djaying
michael133
Memberthere are videos online to show creative use of effects but the best advise anyone can take is just mess around make sure to record every mix you make and listen back after and if it sounds good then remember it for future
