    I ve seen some people have already hacked it to open it up to other controllers. Theres one for Maschine in the works, not for IOS yet. I think I might wait it out a bit longer and see what they come up with. However i dont think it would top the integration of the F1. Once I see some more peformances on it…I may get it to repalce my vestax pad one….lmao everytime I see your display “You can never have enough controllers” I’m more tempted to buy it….CAUSE YOUR RIGHT LOL

    I don thave the s4 I have the s2 nor have I fully looked at some of the new mappable features HOWEVER….I would say not to rule out your laptop as a midi controller for extra control. I have mapped some kill switches keys on the keyboard I never really use.

    The only thing I was really looking forward too was the 64 sample slots and mapping it to my drum pad. I do like the F1 and the fact that u can default it to control some features…..wasnt going to buy it cause I was stubborn and didnt like the price point….but every time I look at it I see an empty space for it in my set up lol….more of a question of… Do I do eat Mr.Noddles for the Month of June and buy the F1 or lose countless hours of sleep thinking about it on a full stomach?….decisions decisions…I know they said they would eventually open it up to other midi controllers but it wont be as intergrated

    For me I like to listen to previous mixes that I’ve done in the past. The ones that you did “that made you step back and pat yourself on the back”…..gets me excited….reminds me of what I can do and sets the bar higher…after all your only as good as your last mix!

    agreed, I have the s2 as well and all I do is pretty much tap it on/off…no additional force required

    -Vestax Pad One (Controls my effects, cue points, loops and beat jumps, cc)
    -Maschine Mikro (Going to be used as live-input in Deck D) currently playing around with the best ways to incorporate it in my set up..just got it about a month ago and I love it
    -Arriving this week….the komplete audio 6.

    Need some decent speakers though…currently just using some old ones that I had previously used for my surround sound in my living room

    On a side note: Quite dissapointed that I will not be able to midi map my vestax pad one or the mikro to the Traktor 2.5 remix decks. Literally was waiting for the May 30th launch forever!!! The only way to access new clip launching features is if you buy the F1 which I dont need at all! …..anyone else in the same boat?
