looks can be deceiving, like i said, it kinda looks like a PS. but nothing is useless in capable hands, mate 🙂

i hope we inspired an article, that’d be pretty nice. have the opportunity for this to be front paged, maybe get some REAL news. wishful thinking.

have to consider the cost of software/hardware integration. its an s4 ($799) plus 2 f1’s ($199×2) so its marginally $100 less than if you were to purchase all those items. is it enough of a saving to consider? depends on how you play. will it have a following? absolutely. native instruments is trying to teach everyone how to make/play music, and its quite fantastic.

excellent feedback, thank you guys! i didnt purchase the mixer outright, it was gifted to me. its not a loss to sell, i was just hoping that i wouldnt have to.

essentially im trying to control/map the levels and different parameters of VSTs in Logic. would i absolutely need a midi capable mixer for that? or is there an adapter i can use to say for example, adjust a filter or different track levels. i just dont want to have to shell out more money than i have to, if i have something capable.

so i assume i would need a tractor a4 or something like to control with my mixer?

i just want an abundance of knobs, and i know a mixer will give me that. also something with decent sound processing is necessary.

i have a launchpad that i use, but i’d like a mixer to map effects. should i just get an external soundcard, and a budget mixer?
