Traktor and VDJ are both good for me. I’ve heard that Virtual DJ has better Hi-res MIDI support but I never had an opportunity to verify it.
My budget is quite small for a DJ equipment: about 300€. I live in Poland, so electronics are a little bit cheaper than in Germany, for example.
Here are some prices:
Denon SC 2000 – 140€
Numark M2 – 90€
Traktor Audio 2 – 90€
Reloop Terminal Mix 2 – 300€
Denon MC 3000 – 400€
Ahh.. Denon MC 3000. Great piece of hardware but costs 100€ more than Reloop Terminal Mix 2. The price and release date of MC 2000 is still unknown in Poland, so I don’t even bother.
I’d like to spend 300€ max. In this price range the only reasonable MIDI controller is Reloop Terminal Mix 2 – good pitch faders (long and accurate), metal chasis, etc. I could’t find a better one. Is it really the only choice I’ve got? Or should I buy Denon SC-2000 and wait a while for price drops (mixer, Traktor Audio 2)?
