I found the software Mixmeister fusion. I just can’t remember how to do it. I only remember you do few clicks. It’s already a beggining. If you try it and find a tutorial or something, please tell us.
ParticipantI intensify squarecell’s words, and I can add that with VDJ and it’s overlapped waveforms, I use advanced techniques jumping between bars of music and set songs beats exactly where I want.

I use also Virtual DJ who has auto gain but it is not 100% reliable. On winamp i didn’t found a plugin that makes it.

Once my beatgrids are ok (sometimes I use MixMeister Fusion to fix them). I just implement some CUE points and I’m ready to mix. I didn’t know we could snap things on VDJ. Have you got any tutorial about it by any chance?

Hee Won Jun, what you said is just to put songs in beatmatch and phrase matched. Ok! I can do this on Traktor but and then? How many beat jumps to “pull” the CUE point to the right place? See my point?

Still on VDJ, sometimes even matching those 1sts beats, and jumping by 16 beats (at a time), I just go closer, not accurate. So I got to keep beat jumping just one beat at a time time to “pull” the CUE point to the right place. Thanks to the overlapping wave forms I can fix it at time.
That happens ’cause sometimes songs are not 4/4 (“quaternĂ¡rio” in latin), or whatever.
I mean, in Traktor I didn’t see yet a 100% secure way to make this kind of advanced mixing technic without error…
Thanks anyway.ParticipantEach software has advantages that others dont. One of the reasons I prefer VDJ, is that both deck wave forms are overlapping. I think this topic is very interesting ’cause maybe you guys help me to do in Traktor an advanced mixing technic I use with VDJ.
Lets say that its already a song playing to the audience. With the headphone I identify both 1st beats and sync them. Then, I beatjump the 2nd song to “pull” it’s CUE point exactly where I want it to be. Then it’s a matter of crossfading.
I can do this easily with VDJ (just because it’s overlapping rhythm window). How would you guys do that with Traktor?If we talk about mixing technics on this post, we will change completely it’s subject. So I ask you guys to answear me by PM instead.
