Personally i think you really need to know your equipment how it works it limitations and benefits, my homemade speaker setup is better sounding than a resonably cheap active setup… boxes i made myself after looking into what i wanted /needed …. decent xovers help too imo … regards marc

Clubs and Parties are ok with me , many years ago i use to do reception rooms, needed $$$..weddings were the bane of my life on the most part with a few exceptions… the payer would give u list and the tone of the night and u get some drunk yobo hassling you most of the nite i want metal why no metal …. aghhhh
