BCDEDIT – Boot Configuration Data Store EditorThe Bcdedit.exe command-line tool modifies the boot configuration data store. The boot configuration data store contains boot configuration parameters andcontrols how the operating system is booted. These parameters were previouslyin the Boot.ini file (in BIOS-based operating systems) or in the nonvolatileRAM entries (in Extensible Firmware Interface-based operating systems). You canuse Bcdedit.exe to add, delete, edit, and append entries in the bootconfiguration data store. For detailed command and option information, type bcdedit.exe /? . Forexample, to display detailed information about the /createstore command, type:bcdedit.exe /? /createstore

Firstly get rid of Vista, upgrade to win 7 or Xp 64 bit, Vista was basically a stop gap till 7 came out its full of bugs. Add more ram, 4 gig be a start, Traktor will run on Turon 1.9 ghz but as Drew says Ram is the key,,,, Do you really want the Best Gear? or Gear that you are comfortable with, while u are learning? …. Dj Gear really is a personal choice, it relies on experience, venues, compatability…. Let us know what you want to do with Djing, im sure people will advise …
