ASIO hates 7 on laptops… FACT.
The solution is cheap as chips though… Dual boot windows XP and windows 7, keep 7 for normal laptop duties and reserve XP for DJ software only.
I’ve been running like this for 2 year, with only one blue screen of death when doing a lot of work in Ableton while running Virtual DJ at the same time. I think i got a conflict as both were trying to use the same midi controler
Sorry about being late to get back to all you guys, played a gig last Friday using a mate’s Mac and it ran perfect.
Still playing around with mine at the moment, going to try the dual boot method now as was recommended above and recommended by the store I bought the S4 from. The guy is a sound engineer and he said this has solved one of his customers problems with the S4 before.
Now, how do I go about this? How is it possible to be able to have XP and Win 7 installed and choose between which one you want to use? HELP! 😀
