-Has somebody already taken the facebook page/url?
-Is your name not like any other “popular” DJs around (I’m thinking how many deadmau5 copy cats there are around, putting numbers as letters) (excuse the pun)
-Dont prefix your name with “DJ” that’s a little too corny/obvious. Unless you’re a scratch DJ from tha ‘hood.

    And above all, BE UNIQUE!!!!

Hopefully we’ll be seeing you play at Ministry Of Sound in a few years 😀

Thank you for all the replies and feedback guys!

When I chose the name I checked if there wasnt another DJ with that name on facebook and url, in regards with using only my real name, there are already a DJ Lukas I thought of using my name and surname (Lukas van der Westhuizen) but that is too long and difficult to pronounce 😀

Cant say this enough! Digital DJ Tips is the best thing since sliced bread!

I am saving up for a new controller to buy end of the year to replace my VCI 100, so the S4 caught my eye, especially that it is basically a plug and play controller. I was also excited about Traktor Pro2 especially the sample decks and other bells and whistles, seeing that I want to start playing around more with samples and looping and effect, and take my djing up to the next level

Enter the Denon, well it is Denon what can you say durable never say die equipment, although I was worried that I wont be able to use Traktor pro 2 with it. And now some guys on here say you can and that they are doing it?

So my question is is it easy to use the denon with Traktor Pro2? Is there alot of mapping involved? Or should I just get the S4?
