Ok, cause i had an idea that with a couple of battery powered PAs, a controller and laptop, you could have a complete go anywhere set up, you could just throw it into the back of a car. with an invertter and a projector, you could run some visuals too.

So it’s got a 4 out interface? where are the outputs? On the back? then how can you put it right up against the mixer?
Are the play buttons high quality? And is there any word on the price?

IMO, the players to watch are gemini at the low end (crtl 7), numark (with the ns7/ns6/ns4/etc.), and vestax at the high end. A&H seems to be a lot like Stanton – great ideas, average execution.

    A pair of D-Beams!
If you’ve played on any roland keyboards, you may have noticed these – they are infrared sensors that are generally used to control some parameter or the “solo synth,” which makes cool sounds as you wave your hand over it. It’s very expressive and would be good as a filter or FX control.

I use Mixxx, since i cant afford much more 🙂
Plus it really isnt very bad, and the people are great.

    I use Mixxx! (http://www.mixxx.org)
Because i’m poor! And the developers and users are all on the forum and everyone is great.
and i have VDJ home, which is cool, but i might want to record my mixes and you cant. and the FX sound corny (especially the filters, which, doing some production IMO sound awefull.)
