It totally makes sense what your saying here mate, there are controllers such as the S4 which is more than half the price and can do more through Traktor etc.. But I had the 1000’s and 1200’s before i purchased TSP and i still spin CDs and vinyl most hence why i have a CDJ/TT setup. 🙂
Bedroom DJ until you can safely work your way through a hour ‘set’ without worrying which tune to select next and being able to safely beatmatch quickly and mix.. Then play to anybody possible (i started my first 6 months doing free gigs). And as time goes on you learn from mistakes and watching other DJ’s play.
Chris Lake! I have quite a lot of his unreleased stuff (my DJ partner and Chris are good mates) and the house riffs he can pull off is out of this world!
Then there is Marco Lys, Jay Lumen and Stefano Noferini.. All brilliant!
I still have the Techs but concentrating on CDJs at the moment,
