ParticipantI thought this was awesome! Been a fan of Madeon for a while and this video just blew him up!

My constructive criticism would be that in a couple of your transitions, particularly the first (Everyday to set me on fire), there’s a lot going on there between the old track and the incoming track and the sounds kind of clash because everything is going full blast all at once maybe a little EQing might help – unless of course that sound was what you were going for. But like I said overall good mix.
Thanks! I honestly wasn’t sure about the first mix as far as leaving Everyday going but the harmony was solid but too much of the actual song bled into it.

ParticipantWork 🙁 But I’ll be broadcasting a Moombahton mix on my radio show Saturday night.

ParticipantI use Ableton 8 as well!

ParticipantI would use Traktor just to mess around but I don’t think I would use it live, and Ableton is more for my studio mixes so I have maximum control over them.

ParticipantI’m using it currently and I have to say it’s the best reason I can think of to get Reaktor, as someone who isn’t very knowledgeable about modular synths Reaktor has always gotten away from me but I was trying out Razor on a computer and fell in LOVE! The sounds this thing produce are heavy as hell.

ParticipantI use it to do studio mixes, I’m a bit reluctant to use it live as I’m not sure my comp could handle it in a real world setting.

ParticipantI use the sony MDR-7506 and while they are beastly and do a fairly decent job of isolation, I find the bass to be lacking a bit. That being said for less than $100 you can’t really go wrong. I would love a pair of HDJ-2000s, I’ve used them and they are definitely the Cadillac of cans.

ParticipantI’m surprised nobody mentioned the BX5a’s for less than $200 you can’t beat em!
