I have found myself recently listening to mostly scandinavian radio stations, and would definetley recommend checking them out 😛 even if you just go to tunein.com or something like that 🙂

Hey everyone, I am from Birmingham originally but study in Hull and DJ up here, DJ’ed for alot of house/street parties but want to get some fixed spots at some local bars/clubs.
I DJ house/electro/trance Hip/hop/Dirty south and since I cater to aot of international students here, I DJ a wide variety of music from practically everywhere lol.
Great to see so many other UK enthusiasts on here 😀

Sorry to hear you didn’t get anywhere but I had the same result when first trying to have a proper DJ set up with just a laptop, end of the day a little cash does have to be spent 😛
and honestly I have done small parties without any headphones at all, simply using traktors waveforms and effects, my knowledge of the music and good old intuition 🙂 all the best! K.

Hey Alex, I have looked into this and as far as I am aware it is not possible because all those are, is one output split into two, nevermind software the hardware isn’t there for it. I have a pair of headphone outputs on my laptop and I was looking to do the same. So soundcard is needed I’m afraid 😛 Don’t know about your second issue 🙂

hey Evolucious thanks for the reply 😉 yeah I have heard many people complaign about the sound issues and this has got me to consider whether it will be worth the risk. But than again there is the price issue too 😛

Thank for the reply Fitzfunk 😉
Great advice there, will definetley keep that in mind and am looking into getting the 4.1 now as I have seen thomann.de have a decent deal on a b-stock version of it. Yeah will definetley attempt mapping it myself after reading your response, I guess it gets you one to one with the software/hardware match up. The leads are a must yes, especially if your attempting to run a more professional set up I guess.
In regards to your mixes, great work! I would love to get that stage in under a year, I started on Vinyls long ago but left it and I am trying to get back onto the digital scene 😛
