Thank you for your patience.

One other question. With any of these devices I could add some scratching over already existing tracks that my friend cuts. For example, if he has basic tracks in Cubase with a funky drum sample and an acoustic guitar, etc, I may want to add some scratching on top of those already existing tracks.

Yes. That makes sense. can you recommend any devices? I’d like to keep it under $300.

So I would just need to run it through my interface as if I was recording an acoustic instrument? Wouldn’t that then be a mono signal though?

Also, are there any of these devices you would recommend?
