i wanted a controller for the exact same reasons ..its was getting a pain lugging 2x1210s DJM 600 and all the vinyl up and down the stairs to do parties with …so i got myself ad pioneer DDJ-SB …its their entry level one ..fairly basic ..but does have 3 band EQ controls..easy to get used to ..but it does run serato intro ..which is ok the only thing is it don’t have a record function ..unless you upgrade the software …but at the moment when we do parties it all goes through a mixer and a recording taken from there with a roland R-05 so get good quality from that
