Ummm… what?! I seriously have no clue as to what you’re talking about. Who’s taste? I’ve made all the PR-material myself, if that’s what you’re referring to. Up to personal taste, as always. But if I may – I will never let only the music do the talking. DJ’ing to me is just as much a visual experience as an auditory. And since I work in advertising and public relations, I find interactive communication pretty interesting, I spend a lot of time having fun doing different promotion-efforts. This is not meant to boast at all but the “styling” of my mixes has played a huge part in me getting front-page features on Noiseporn, Electronic Battle-Weapons, Digitally Imported etc. Sorry if I sound a bit douchey, I was just taken by surprise to find a DJ not seeming too keen on any visual marketing. Or are you referring to something else as “styling”? The thing I find hard to understand is that you prefer to let the music do the talking when in fact the topic is a music video. And damn, the original is a stylish classic.
