Wow, thanks for an awesome reply dude. Thing is – I agree with almost everything you say. I admit I became defensive, I didn’t expect a comment on the packaging. And since you only had the critique of “I hate it”, I came on too strong. You’re right about the photo, I’ve done alot in Photoshop so I guess combined with the typographic elements it borders on becoming its own work. I didn’t realize you were referring to the photo itself as in the exploitation of sex. But I consider myself to be pretty concious about it – I chose the image because it was the best one I could find that was suitable as artwork, and because it represent the feel of the video. I guess what I’m saying is that the choice of photography is relevant to the rest of the package. I have to say I appreciate your reply and the time you took with it. And yes – I came on here for feedback, adding “my first” to the topic – me being a total n00b and all. And I was primarily looking for feedback on the tune itself. Thanks again for your thoughts.

Ummm… what?! I seriously have no clue as to what you’re talking about. Who’s taste? I’ve made all the PR-material myself, if that’s what you’re referring to. Up to personal taste, as always. But if I may – I will never let only the music do the talking. DJ’ing to me is just as much a visual experience as an auditory. And since I work in advertising and public relations, I find interactive communication pretty interesting, I spend a lot of time having fun doing different promotion-efforts. This is not meant to boast at all but the “styling” of my mixes has played a huge part in me getting front-page features on Noiseporn, Electronic Battle-Weapons, Digitally Imported etc. Sorry if I sound a bit douchey, I was just taken by surprise to find a DJ not seeming too keen on any visual marketing. Or are you referring to something else as “styling”? The thing I find hard to understand is that you prefer to let the music do the talking when in fact the topic is a music video. And damn, the original is a stylish classic.
