I’m from South Africa, and we run on 220V, same as the UK.
I haven’t changed anything in my setup, besides the soundcard/controller. Before I was running the Audio 8 with a Kontrol X1, using just those 2 USB ports. Now I’m using just the MC2000, with no other USB devices attached to the laptop.
A) I have a Lenovo laptop with 3 USB ports, I have tried testing all 3 ports to the same results.
B) I have tried the same scenario without my HK system connected to the same results.
C) I have tried even running the laptop of battery just to test, to the same results when switching my lighting on & off.
NOTE: When I run as mentioned before with just my 1 LED effects light the whole night without stopping, I have no problems for many hours, up to 6-7 hours with no problems.
So still to me the problem lies with the only thing that has been added to the system.
Tomorrow I’m going to borrow a mates controller and test it on my setup and see if I get the same results?
