It is alright to have one bass eq at 12 oclock, and the b track is at say 9 oclock? and then fade the bass with the phrases of the music. If I sound good to you?

Do you think I should higher one EQ while lowering the other EQ at the same time. Like having on hand on one EQ then the other on the other EQ balancing them out to 100 like you said.

Yeah I think it works great with top 40/ hiphop. When playing the whole song is not necessary. If I’m playing a party then I got to read the crowd also.

My original comment is directed for Hip Hop, R&B, and Top 40, where there is an acapella already in the track, and using samples of acapellas would be rare. Allthough I dislike playing for a venue thats attracts a top 40 crowd, I try to take those songs and make them the best I can. Using cue points to either switch or skip verses works to my benefit alot, especially since so many top 40 songs have bad verses.

What about Macbook Pros? Does it matter if its a 2.2 ghz or 2.5 ghz? If they both have 4gb ram. Are the older models just as good?

What type of music is between 130-140? I usually stop at around 130. Then Dubstep at 140. Can you half the bpm so we can play hiphop maybe?

I use serato and turntables usually and then virtual Dj when I don’t got my turntables on me.. The Dicer would be sick, but I think I’m gonna save up and get traktor with the s2 to get more mobile and creative.. I usually don’t have problems mixing the intro with anything, but if the intro has lyrics then I got to mix it with a part that just has simple beats and with dubstep that’s usually only the outro.
