    Thanks for your replies, it makes me think about this more easily and gives me ideas about how to contact some french artists that I know and maybe make a modest compilation with them (and their original material) 🙂

    Hi Emma Partnow !

    you made a point because I guess I’m playing more “underground” tracks that are actually not signed…
    In fact, if it would be only me, I wouldn’t care selling the CD and would give it for free :p

    I don’t want to make money but just want to to it legally, just once 🙂

    I think you’re right I should ask each artist I want to play in this compil. I shall choose not big artists so it would be a promotion for them too ! It’s all about negociation and maybe … sign a paper together to seal the agreement. Just in case 😉

    I don’t wanna take a mix that I have already done but I was thinking maybe you can choose tracks from a list a label show you and then record your mix from that list ?
    I mean, I listen to some compil such as Anjunadeep, Purobeach or Hedkandi and I was wondering how it happens ? Artists haven’t signed exclusively on this label, have they ?
