Yeah… I’ve given the MTP2 a good thrashing.. So I think it is time tl upgrade.. And I think I’ll go for the SR.

Mainly because it’s cheaper, has two channels and I don’t really need screens for myself at the moment. Also I think it looks better than the NV, but I guess it’s a personal thing.

Would you consider the SR an upgrade from the Mixtrack Pro 2? I’m thinking it is..

Okay I’ll try and make it more specific:

I wouldn’t really need four channels as you stated, but I would think screens would be nice.

Now in my bedroom setup I have a monitor right in front of me, so I think I should be fine with that.

I think writing this, I’m leaning towards the SR…

But then again, I was having vague thoughts on upgrading my controller, and possibly purchasing something that already comes with the full version of Serato DJ, but I don’t know yet… I think I’ll wait a little while before purchasing Serato DJ.

The thing is before I bought my Mixtrack, I had a been using VDJ Home 7 for about 7 – 8 months, so I know how VDJ works and all, and I really prefer Serato imo. If there is something I’m not fully comprehending could you please tell me?

I think I feel more comfortable with upgrading to the full version of Serato DJ, rather than using an LE version of VDJ…

    Tuomari,

Isn’t it that with VDJ, you can only use a controller for 15 minutes before you are prompted to purchase the pro version?
