Find the right spot to loop you master track (8 beats) have the cued track pitched correctly, tease the track several times by stuttering and using the hotcues for different drums, clap, and bass notes. Then blend while cutting the loop down and BAM! The crowd goes ballistic, they never saw it coming! The dance floor went from shufflin’ to wigglin’!
Usually halving (the bpm) the slower with the faster is a usual factor, it works backwards too. However I have noticed the my BPM detection is off sometimes in the software, I have to manually adjust by ear. It’s just like playing Electro to Dubstep. It’s really easy.
You mean pitching the track thats coming next? (the slower bpm one), because im using traktor, and this will sound wierd imo.
