Could you post an example? let’s say a set where fatboy slim does it, or any other DJ, just to get a grip of what you’re saying..

Find the right spot to loop you master track (8 beats) have the cued track pitched correctly, tease the track several times by stuttering and using the hotcues for different drums, clap, and bass notes. Then blend while cutting the loop down and BAM! The crowd goes ballistic, they never saw it coming! The dance floor went from shufflin’ to wigglin’!

Usually halving (the bpm) the slower with the faster is a usual factor, it works backwards too. However I have noticed the my BPM detection is off sometimes in the software, I have to manually adjust by ear. It’s just like playing Electro to Dubstep. It’s really easy.

You mean pitching the track thats coming next? (the slower bpm one), because im using traktor, and this will sound wierd imo.

Well yeah, but sometimes the moment might require you to slam certain track. and you can’t do increments or you’ll lose this time.

Im talking about huge bpm difference jumps. Not 1-2bpm, that’s too simple. I’m talking about going straight electrohouse (140bpm) into hip hop 75bpm smoothly.

Unfortunately it has no ”hold” button, but actually the loop is so small you can barely hear when it repeats itself. Thanks alot for the explanation.
