    Hi,

I have a question also in regards to chosing a laptop. I am geting a Pc for Traktor Pro 2, only for djing. I am hesitating between two models:

    Asus: Asus K550CC-XX509H
    Intel Core i7-3537U (2 Ghz / 4 Mb. Cache L3 / TDP 17 W.), 8 Gb. DDR3 a 1600 Mhz, 1 Tb. 5400 rpm. Windows 8 (64 bits), Gigabit Ethernet, nVidia Geforce GT 720M (2 Gb. DDR3), Display: 15,6″ HD (1366×768) 1 USB 3.0 + 1 USB 2.0
    650€

    Lenovo:Lenovo IdeaPad G500s – 59402423
    Intel Core i7-3632QM (4 core; 8 thread) a 2.2GHz (turbo 3.2GHz), 16GB RAM, 500GB HDD, DVD±RW (±R DL), nVidia GeForce GT 720M 2Gb, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0,2 USB 3.0 + 1 USB 2.0, Display 15.6″ LED HD 1366×768, Windows 8.1
    700€

The point is I would like to have a computer stable, I think the ASUS meets this point. On the other hand the processor of the ASUS seems to be a bit poor in comparison with Lenovo. The problem with Lenovo is that serching on google I find several threads about technical problems, which is something I would like to avoid.

So, I would like a machine stable, reliabe which runs traktor smothly in all possible scenarios with no cpu load issues.

Please let me know you thougts and experieces to help me to make a decision.

If you think there is a better choice arround this budget +-100€ any suggestion is welcome.

    Regards.

    Thanks so much for replying.

As far as I have understood, there is no solution on the way. What I cannot understand is how Reloop could release this product in 2013 with such a problem, taking into account the Macs have the USB 3.0 since 2012 and the problem was already known from Jockey ME.

At least Native Instruments announced they are working close with Apple to fix the S4 as soon as possible, but Reloop says nothing.

I need to think about it because I would really like to get the Mac but I really dont like the hub because that means an extra device plus cables plus an extra plug . There ase still many Pcs which come with one USB 2.0.

If somebody else has any other idea/oppinion please let me know.

    Thanks!

    Jesus
