    @DJ Vintage

    thanks, I was told on another forum my VDJ settings were wrong, the issue is that their config setup isnt straight forward at all. Geminis Guide says “plug controller into PC, open software, choose ‘G4V’ as midi in and midi out”

    thats how simple minded the writer of the Gemini guide is

    The only way I think to setup VDJ is through their advanced config menu but I have basically 0 idea how to do that.

    I’m on the verge of returning this to Amazon, which I dont want to do because the next best controller is $200 out of my budget and the reviews for this on Amazon were actually really solid for a newbie based controller and its built well compared to some of the plastic made Toys R Us quality built mixers I have messed with at Guitar Center in the past.

    I’m willing to just pay someone to skype into a call with me and walk me through this thing, I dont really want to return this. I actually took my setup to Guitar Center and tried hooking up their pro audio speakers to the controller and nothing.

    So at this point it is one of two things

    1) I am truly a special level idiot newbie and have no idea how the setup is supposed to be

    or

    2) I have a dysfunctional unit

    @Titan: I’m new to this so I have no idea what I am doing lol.

    I went to Guitar Center and told them I had PC speakers and was trying to get the PC speakers to plug into the back of my controller, they pointed me in the direction of the adaptors to buy and I kind of just set it up this way on my own and it looked right. I have tried about 5 different mappings for this device, official and community oriented.

    Here is a video of what is going on if it helps at all

    the only thing i didnt show in the video is the speakers but they are indeed turned on and volume turned full blast
