If you are absolutely sure you will not use CDs then the N4 is the cheaper option and a solid one.
In the same price range you also have the Terminal Mix 4 from Reloop which is all metal construction compared to the N4 and has better jogs, also comes with VDJ LE and Serato Intro.
Hope that helps you a bit 🙂The Terminal Mix 4 is 100$ more than I’d like to spend and the only problem I have with the N4 is the plastic-ish look it has to it. The Mixdeck just looks more professional and I can get for same price as N4… Such a dilemma. If I had enough money I’d just buy the Ns6 but I am tight for cash unfortunately.

MemberI’d also like to add that I know the N4 comes with Serato Intro which is a big plus because I’d like to try Serato out. Not a fan of Traktor at all and Virtual DJ is okay. Thanks.

It looks great but for my first controller I have a really tight budget I only wanted to spend 400-500 max… So that is how I narrowed it down. Plus Kontrol S2 comes with complete Traktor 2 Software and it is on sale at a store not too far from me for $529.00 US dollars. So if you had to go with something other than the Denon which looks ridiculously sweet which do you think?

That is another reason why I’m having such a dilemma because of the flexibility of the N4 but the S2 just seems a lot more professional quality for the price and that is what ideally I’m aiming for because I do plan on playing gigs and such as well as it comes with Traktor Pro 2 and not just a limited edition software… Thank you for feedback thought I think I am still leaning toward the S2 at the moment.

okay awesome! thank you again synthet1c !

is traktor better than vdj anyways? or is serato best because the N4 comes with serato and yes i feel the same way about the toyish-ness of the N4 im not really a fan of that plastic feel. thank you for you feedback
