I say DJ the music you love, no matter what genre you play. Its always going to be hard first starting out because you have no previous experience, you will get better in time. Just keep at it, and you will get better.

    Z3TA+2 -Cakewalk $99
The legendary waveshaping sound of Z3TA+ (zay’-ta) is back – and better than ever. New filters, modulatable waveshapers, flexible effects, expressive control and a gorgeous new interface make Z3TA+ 2.1 one seriously powerful synth. It’s not often that a soft-synth can be called a classic, but in the case of Z3TA+ it’s definitely appropriate. Used on countless tracks over the past decade, Z3TA+’s distinctive sound has been a staple of electronic artists the world over.

Try out Virtual DJ, see if you like it. Personally I switched to Tracktor Pro back in March because I found Virtual DJ to be limited, and to be lacking in terms of what I wanted to do. But if your just starting out like I was a few years ago, then try it out and see if you like it.

Oh ok thank you. And cool you use nexus 2 as well? I use it a lot in my songs but I’ve been looking at new VST’s lately that will let me edit my sounds more.

Ok. I’m not a huge fan of Dubstep to be honest unless Deadmau5 makes it, just because when he make’s something it always sounds crazy lol, I also use Live as well so if you wanna give me tips for using that it dosen’t matter. I was wondering how you make your house tracks? Like how do you start and stuff?

It was great though finally getting to DJ in front of a crowd, I won’t ever forget it. And nice maybe you could share some tips with me on how you use Fl Studio or something. What type of music you make anyway?

Thank you, and yeah the gig was one of the best experiences of my life, I won’t ever forget it, it was nerve wrecking at first though to be honest with you, I didn’t know what the crowd was going to think of me.
