    Yeah, I’m not so worried about transitions actually so I didn’t describe it well enough!

    By being more “creative” I meant more about the mixed genre – dropping tunes/looping etc which seems more common in when I go out to bars as a customer which works really well and gets the dance floor moving.

    Currently I am linear with tunes and build things up – more akin to a club environment I guess.

    I guess that’s next on my list of things to practice! I’ll look to download some of the types of tunes from that YouTube link.

    The algorithm is automatic, and as long as the rights owner is in the system, the algorithm will find your tracks and flag them in 10 seconds.

    Yeah – that’s likely to be the trigger for it being so quick but if your channel is “in good standing” I think they tend to be more tolerant.

    It’s the inconsistency that’s really frustrating as there are so many “YouTube Celebrities” that get away with SO much. Why? Simple – they drive so many video views and Ad impressions and Clicks, YouTube aren’t gonna take action any time soon, without direct request from the respected copyright owners.

    Legend – thanks mate!

    Yeah I was certainly thinking of planning my set to a big degree so I felt safer so I’ll be working on a few sets of mini-mixes so I know I have some sort of flow to fall back on.

    I’ll get cracking with downloading more tunes and look for more Lounge-type stuff. I have a relatively ok size collection of about 118-120bpm type tracks.
