Raves have been around since late 80s, in the UK anyway

Thanks for all the info guys, keep it coming

So would you advise against a pair of 2nd hand Mackie 450 for instance as a starting point?
Seen them go for under and around the £500 mark

Whats your thoughts guys?

Appreciate what your saying, but for a few unpaid house parties and small gigs 2k is out the question

Is there nothing on the market or 2nd hand that fits the bill?

Are Mackie 450s or Thumps, JBL, Yamaha or EV any good?
