that means he doesnt know how to read the crowd hehehehe. I’m doing it most of the time (fast transitions during the peak of excitement, one stanza and one chorus) never got booed. It added to the excitment and cheers as the crowd wasnt expecting another song to be mixed. It all depends on how you set the mood of the crowd and how effective you are on reading them.

MemberThis would definitely depend on the mood of the crowd. I tend to mix (transition) fast during the peak of excitement.

MemberThink about this…. there will always be someone who is better than you and someone who thinks he is better than you 😀 Rather than feeling inadequate, better make it a personal challenge to improve and master the skill.
We should not stop listening and learning.
cheers

For years, he was just a record player, he only recently learned how to produce music, correct?

In any creative industry be it music or art or film, the watered down easy to understand in my comfort zone things sell. what gets me is that the so called “purist” or “real music lovers” hate on these people:rolleyes:
I believe it’s called jealousy. I guess it’s natural for us humans not to be happy with another mans success or glory. Sometimes we feel we are better than the other guy and we feel that we did not get the recognition we deserve. But most of the time we are just arrogant.
Well if this guy thinks he is better than Dave, then let him be. I believe that even if he will have paid gigs for the next 30 years, it will be nowhere near what David Guetta earns…. unless he becomes famous….. then we can start to trash talk him and also break his fingers.
So much hate in this world
I have to sign up just for this 😀
