Find where you can get the best deal. A few sites have live chat (proaudiostar, unique squared, etc…) and almost all sites will beat by 10% so just take your time, shop around. No point in rushing your decision.

I was in a similar boat, unsure about what to get. I cannot speak for the N4 since i’ve never actually used one, but I am really happy with my Denon MC3000

These were my deciding factors. I went with the Denon MC3000 for a few reasons.
    1. Its built like a tank
    2. There are mappings for Traktor and VDJ
    3. You can plug an external source and run audio through it, so i have my iphone (and a DJing app) all ready to go in the chance my computer crashes.
    4. I got a really amazing deal on it from ProAudioStar (I paid $299 usd)
    5. Denon is a well known brand who makes quality products
    6. Its really small (and portable) yet powerful and can do everything I need it to
    7. It has 4 decks (switch between a/c b/d)

either way, i’m confident you’ll get a great controller

I was in a similar boat, unsure about the RMX2, the Traktor S2, and the Denon MC3000.

Personally I would avoid the RMX2, its a great controller, but for the price, your better to look at the other options.
If you really want to use Traktor, consider the S2, its got great traktor inegration and I beleive it comes with the full version of traktor ($89)

I am planning on buying one. As far as i’ve seen no other companies makes one and a regular splitter cable won’t work.

I plan to use it with my iphone as there are several great dj apps.

I’m leaning towards a used MC3000 right now. It just seems like a lot better product for not that much more money…

Plus its a lot more respectable. Not that respect is everything nor that gear is anything, but people judge. And if you want gigs, you need to be able to impress people. Its like a DJ wearing a pair of Beats… Nothing really wrong with them, but people will judge you for wearing them.
