So how do i remedy this, media-monkey for instance allows me to select id3 tag sorts etc, when using itunes i never needed to import a playlist because it automatically shows up in the software although i stopped using itunes becuase it was too slow and kept crashing. İ will play around with importing playlists and see how i go.

Firstly id like to clear something up— i did not say and do not think that EDM is ONLY based on newness! İ said its pre-dominantly based on whats new and unreleased/exclusive etc etc. Listen to any current radio show/dj both underground and commercial and i bet you will hear at least 50% unreleased or forthcoming material. Anyway my point has been comprehensively answered, mix the old with the new and everyones happy.

when i play electronic i play mainly deep/soulful/tech/jazzy house/tribal,,, it can be so overwhelming with all the new releases that sometimes i get locked into a paralysis and think well i can only purchase a few tracks so inevitably im always behind the curve but i guess that’s normal when your not a proffessional dj.

Hi Terry thanks for the reply, to be honest im getting various answers from all over the web. Maybe because im currently running Traktor LE although i only got it recently its Version 2.0.3. Maybe the file is DRM protected but like i said there are many reports of the same thing all over the web but its inconsistent. Can i burn them as CD audio tracks and then re-rip them?

ive just learnt that AAC files are 256kbps which is suprising. İve never played these out on a club system. What do they sound like? When İ say club system i dont mean a function One system, but something half decent.
