it seems that the problem occurs when i try to add a 3rd rule. Also the options stating were to search such as random etc confuses me too.ParticipantStart your own small night asap,,,,of course if u want to produce music then that is also an essential thing these days…i have no proffessional ambitions to be a dj or producer…i do it for fun and i recently started my own monthly at a a new bar,,,the venue isnt perfect in fact far from it but its good enough for starters. So far most of my friends have been coming and slowly but surely their friends are coming..in another words start small…almost anywhere will do for now…

İ agree with the article in general, firstly it depends on what we mean by Value, if its economic then this applies to ALL genres of music thats available digitally not just house music. İf on the other hand we perceive value to mean something more personal based on love for the music/genre then i dont agree that value in general has been lost. İ value my digital collection as much as my vinyl collection and digital has meant that as a DJ you have to search and listen harder for music that is the best one can find. İ also love ‘Deep House’ whatever that means but İ never search the ‘charts’ provided by the online sites. Digital has almost destroyed the traditional economic model of music buying but i also believe that its helped create a whole lot more passionate consumers too. Economics devalued yes, personal value no.

ParticipantOk so let me get this straight, house mixer eqs at 12,oclock….. then re-adjust using controller eqs…in addition to this the speakers are active and they also have volume and bass adjustments.
ParticipantMy absolute limit is 3pbm as thats when key changes tend to happen and a loss of quality really begins to affect the track,,,however there are many tracks that i do push further yet still sound ok…again you should trust your ears and yes different sound systems will make a difference.

İ have a reloop digital jockey 3 ME and yes my controller and TT are on the same trunk but not my laptop. , İ will try the line switching too.
January 28, 2013 at 9:41 pm in reply to: Live analouge input to my controller causes buzzing sound. #35870Participantdam , took the TT base off to reveal the inner workings, i found the ground wire leading from the RCA inputs connected to a bolt near the tone arm which is metal as most of the deck is plastic. İts a Stanton T80 dj deck. İ connected a wire from the ground wire on the TT to my earth terminal on my controller but still no luck. Does it matter what kind of cable i use?

ParticipantWould be possible to map the sample decks in traktor? İ use a reloopdj3me but its 4 channel (2) physical channel controller and i find it clumsy when trying to use the sample decks. İ want to try and avoid switching to use the sample decks on the controller and maybe use the ipad for sample deck control instead.
