    Ok ime a new DJ, i am a huge consumer and do lots of research, the itch looks great except adjusting the grid is hard. also I personally would not buy an new controller now because of the major software overhauls which i believe will lead to hardware overhauls

    What do you use… Also do i need monitor speakers starting out or is a TMA-1 or AIAIA studio good enough?…..I also think a flight case is a good idea lol?

    If shiftee, moldover and porter robinson all use the S4 it must be good right

    I think the Twitch is too controllerist and advanced hooo. But i always get pulled back to the s4 and s2 and the VCI400 (djtt edition). I have to decide quick because the DJTT vci400 is on september sale. So the s2 is more in my price range and i use only 2 decks when using my Keyboard and Traktor. But i see lots more features like loop recorder, quantitize and stuff on the S4. I also know the VCI (vextax) is a great controller and is like a superstar with the DJTT renovation. So I was wondering what i should do??? please help i need to decide in the next few days.

    I am looking at it as the djm900nexus is a much better mixer and piece of dj gear…I also really like the effects section. I think i found a common ground than the s4 with the djm900nexus and the X1 BECAUSE i really like the mixer and hotcutes, loops and effects knobs.

    So you would advise me or my dad because as a 14 yr old no one gives a shit what i think. And ask for an S4 at what price? At what store? and how?

    well i don’t know a ton about monitors, but i would say that these might not be very loud….especially at this price. Theu also are a slave and master so that might not be great. But for what you said you need they will probably get by

    Yeah, thanks guys ime really pretty clueless at this stage on how far djing will take me (i am 14) and what i will become of a dj, (controller or current(mixing current tunes)). I also did like the numark 4trak after thinking about what you said terry… Do you know if it is possible to get stores to lower prices for you or give you discounts, essentially negotiation?
    So, i hope to hear from you all about your opinions on the 4trak vs the s4, if you have time and I just want to thank you for all of your help

    Well I really like the s4, Integration, look, all in one (sound card…), features all the buttons i have been using as a keyboard dj.
