I don’t get it either, it’s no Jimi Hendrix smashing a guitar that’s for sure. Whatever floats their boat though!

Wow that image is way too much for me to process, a club packed full of Mongols in war gear teching out.

There was a reply by him after in which he seemed quite pissed off with her article, unsurprising it is for GQ which means it shouldn’t even be taken seriously in the first place. I don’t like levels and I don’t know any of his other songs but he’s young and clearly has talent to make music even if it is cheese, he deserves more respect than he got in that article. In the end though, he still wins so it’s not a big deal.

I love my S4 because there’s so many different things I can do with it, it’s small, light and portable. I love how it feels, I love everything except for the build quality of some knobs and buttons.

Post on Mixcloud, you’ll eventually get feedback. However, a good way of knowing I’m improving is on my ability to do stuff I couldn’t do before. Sometimes you just know.

    Round 3, Muscle Car.

This one was fun one to make, been playing a lot with the T3 lately with lots of button pushing and knob twisting to keep things a bit more spiced up. Latin flare, disco tech, late night techno and funky minimal keep you on your toes.

I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again… On any machine that displays the BPM, matching two tracks up is the easiest part of DJing. If DJ Sneak wants to whine about it on Twitter, he can go ahead. I will freely laugh in the face of anyone who says sync is cheating, I barely even use it unless I’m going 3 decks or more but I find it hilarious when CDJ guys complain about controllerists, saying we’re taking the easy way out as if it makes a difference to the audience.

I have backups of pretty much everything I’ve ever downloaded and would need to pay a fee to re-download.
My music folder is copied onto my MacBook, desktop and on my other laptop. I am SAFE! Got the playlists on MB and dt as well.
Software I got backed up all over my external, same thing with any movies ect…

It’s too easy for one little problem to ruin everything.

It’s basically the kind of club we’re all talking about in this topic. Dark, simple, great sound, amazing tunes. Go check it out on a Friday/ Sat morning. It starts getting busy around 2am, stays busy till around 7ish. You won’t be disappointed.

For the second installment in the House of Beats: Perseverance

Life hit me in the face a bunch of times lately but I gotta keep up with I love most and that’s music.
This one has more of what I love best with big drums, plenty of grooves, driving techno and some nice melodies to wind things down. Give it a listen, let me know what you think!

Yeah man it’s the best there is when it comes to house and techno. Fridays is midnight to 9am. Sundays is 3am-noon and 8pm-4am. Except next week it’s opened a straight 25 hours. Crazy place.

Just that feeling and energy you get from being surrounded by like mind people jammn to the same beat is unreal. Thats why I will always love guverment nightclub lmao but I agree being in a small more intimate space is ideal as well. Im kind of on the fence here lol

I haven’t bothered with Guvernment in almost a year now. My fave place in Toronto is still Comfort Zone, it’s the most simple place I’ve ever been to but the music is ALWAYS the best. It’s the same price for entry but if you go upstairs during drinking hours the prices are pretty decent, downstairs the water is a good price but they’ll give you cups of water for free however Gatorade is like $7 each. o.0

It’s a reason I see so many small clubs being more popular than the large ones. Cheaper running costs for cheaper drinks and cheaper entrance fees, though that always isn’t the case. Sometimes I think the way of the super sized club is dying and the hole in the wall is having its rebirth. Personally, the small places are way more fun anyways.

Youngsters drink less often, and frequently “pre-drink” when they do, guzzling cheap supermarket booze before going out. The average customer now quaffs just 1.8 drinks at Luminar’s clubs.”

Well gee, sorry if I can’t afford to pay almost $10 a drink on a night I’d like to party ontop of an already insane $25 cover charge. Yeah, I know those of us without a lot of money aren’t clubs nubmer one target but we are the people who fill the dance floor. Without us, the ballers won’t buy booths because the club will be empty.
