MemberI make sure people and companies don’t get in trouble with the IRS. I’m an accountant. I know that makes me sound nerdy but I love numbers 😎 😀

MemberWow, my jaw dropped reading your story. Music is always something we can turn to for some positive effect. Just reading this tells me how strong you are. Keep your head up!!!

MemberWhat it comes down to is how much time are you willing to put. I’ve learned almost everything about Traktor in about a month. Ableton is so vast in in depth that it can literally take you months to scratch the surface. I’ve been using Ableton for about 14 months now and I still fell like a rookie sometimes. The bottom line is Ableton can do so much more than Traktor, you get what you put in ( Traktor is still an awesome software)

I love Sound forge. I will be so nice if they have it on the Mac!!! I usually use it to split my mix into tracks 🙂

MemberI really hate the guy or girl….who comes up and wants you to play the “it” at 9pm. I just tell tell it’s on the set and if you stay long enough you will hear it.

MemberI have couple mics but I never take them with me. I just plug my headphones into the mic output when I need to, seems to work just fine.

MemberI play all my sets with my APC 40 mapped to TP2 and an X1.

MemberThe worse thing that happened to me was showing at my gig and seeing another DJ playing. I was told that is he a family member and was playing for free so I wasn’t needed. They wanted me to give back the $100 deposit back, I politely told them to “eat it”. Funny but true 😡

MemberI met this kid “DJ Aleve” he got me into dubstep. Then we went to see MartyParty and Inxision, My eyes were bleeding after the show, that’s how loud it was.

MemberMy shortest set was 45 min. We had about 20 Djs at the rave party. Longest was about 5-6 hours. House parties of course

MemberMy very first controller was the Hercules Steel back in 09. That thing was so rugged and reliable. It came with Virtual DJ but I never used it. I jumped straight into Traktor.
