MemberI truly believe most controller will always be proprietary. What is comes down to is market share. We need to understand that at the end of of the day, it’s all about business. Non-proprietary controllers takes money out of companies pockets. As a DJ I wish I can but any controller and use a software that I’m already familiar to but that’s not profitable to the company. 🙂 🙁

MemberI use TuneUp, Is the best tagging in the whole world…I think. It cost about $50 for a lifetime subscription. You can drag hundreds of songs onto the TuneUp sidebar in a single click does the job. When it’s done, you’ll have a list to approve with any tricky songs or album. The free version of TuneUp is limited to 50 songs per month

MemberI don’t think a day goes by when I don’t delete something. One I add a new track, one has to go.

MemberMy first gig was at this bar right next to a strip club. It was on a tuesday night. I think I spent more than 4 days prepping. I wasn’t as nerveous as I thought I was gonna be but I was sweating a lot 🙁 The place was so dead by the end of the night they only people I was playing for were some of the strippers and my friends. Good times, good times 🙂

MemberI think it’s in all of us to be perfect. It’s funny because sometimes whenever I listen to my recorded sets I play I public, they sound much better that when I’m actually trying to record on my own at home. I think the problem is I overthink when I’m at home but in public I just go with the flow.

MemberYEa, a true Dj NEVER plays another Dj Mix. you can play their remixes of a song and such but a WHOLE mix? NEVER!!! Just my opinion 🙂

MemberI have about 10 gigs dedicate to Djing. I use a system I learned from digitaltips, one IN one OUT. For every new track I add my collection, one has to come out 🙂
