Just got mine last night. Wow I was blown away at the quality.
Jogs are perfect IMO. They feel like numark jogs but with aluminum construction and more weight to them. Very responsive. Not like cheap plastic jogs like all other pioneer controllers and not noisy and cheap like Cdj jogs.
Performance pads are very nice. Soft velvety feel, very sensitive so you can drum two fingers on a pad easily. Very brightly backlit as well.
Software is taking me some time to get used to. Setting beat grids is confusing. If you scan your music or add a track it wot set a beat grid and you can’t use the slicer without a grid set. You must drag your music to the analyze box in offline mode or set it manually. Kind of annoying as other software this is done automatically.
As stated, the effects have wayyyy to many parameters to be used easily without lots of practice. It’s nice but when you have 3 knobs and 3 parameter buttons for each effect – even simple ones like flange – it is a little cumbersome.
