MemberDifficult to answer your question because you clearly dont want to tell even a little thing about your idea. Patents are expensive and it will take you a lot of time to get your idea registered. After those costs you will still have to sell your idea, something that will also cost you a lot of time. I would try to contact somebody in the R&D section of NI if you think your idea is really good. Just try, if they steal it, it would be ****** up but I dont think they would do that.

Check out the weight of the engine, 5.0kg is really heavy. The heavier, the faster the track is on the good speed. Take all the points that passed above into account. Of course only buy direct drive turntables.
For used turntables especially check out the elements and needle. Roughly one can say that Stanton elements (like the 505) are used by dj’s that are scratching and doing tricks and Ortofon (Pro S) is preferred by dj’s that make long mixes. Ortofon sound quality is a bit better then Stanton.
I’ve got a TT500 for ages and it’s great! I use a Stanton 505 btw, great stuff! I would only buy Numark or Technics but thats just a personal preference based on my own experiences.

MemberIt’s waht Hessler says, Traktor can do it right. My point is, if you’re just mixing one record to another and using synq… Please… In that case start using vinyl or cd, your sound quality is ten times better and your mixing skills will improve drastically. The reason why I started using Traktor is because I wanted to do more then just mixing on track into another one. It’s just impossible to do somethings I do now digitally on vinyl or cd. For me that permits using sync buttons etc.

MemberI dont have the time to school myself to a great producer but when I’m trying to make some nice music I use Ableton.

Thats only a bag for the controller, but he wants to take his mixer, headphone and cables also.

MemberWell, I would look for a good case builder in your area! A nice case, with two wheels (trolley type of thing), custom made so it exactly meets your needs.

MemberFirst thing to do is make an account at the livestream website. After that set-up a channel. After that download the procaster http://www.livestream.com/platform/procaster to your extra pc. In this program you login with your account details of the livestream website. It will automatically choose the channel that you’ve created.
With an audio cable you connect your controller to the line-in of your pc. Go to preferences and set it up, audio part is most important. If you click ‘audio’ and on that page ‘open audio mixer’ you get a new screen. Select the built in input and check if you get a sound signal. (You can also add a camera, like a webcam or something) Save the preferences and click on go live. Now you’re streaming!

MemberI wanted to go this year with two friends, but one of them found it too expensive… If you’re planning on going, everyday you wait booking flights etc, it becomes more expensive. Hopefully I’m able to go next year and book everything in november of something like that.

MemberJep, It’s just a fashion brand, but the specs aren’t any good compared to the real (more expensive) deal like Senheiser.

MemberWhen the show gets really big, they have to do it. All the big artists are getting something to do with it at a certain time. For what I know Deadmeau did a tour last year (or is still doing this tour I’m not sure) and that one is rehearsed for something like 75% of the show. Making the show, decor etc, costs a couple million dollars, so you have to get everything right and I don’t think that’s wrong.
At smaller parties, for instance the one that you describe, he for sure have played live. The only thing I want to make clear is that the show becomes to big sometimes and then you’ve to record some stuff. I don’t think it is al problem.
