The problem is that you have set your Audio outputs wrong. You have set output 1&2 (which for the MPro is the Master) as your headphones output, thus you can’t controll its levels through the headphones gain knob. If you can, post a screenshot of your audio configuration! We’ll try to help.

Traktor Pro on a Sony Vaio SVE1511 with Intel i5 and 6GB RAM. Great machine, 4x USB ports (3x USB 2.0 & 1x USB 3.0 – great for an external HDD), backlight keyboard (lifesaver), little bloatware that is easily removable but anywhay has no effect on the machine’s performance. Never had a crashnor overheating issues. Only hiccup is that the wireless adapter has to be disabled or else it causes CPU spikes.

Denon, Pioneer, all types of gear break sometimes. Plus, it was the CD that was overplayed which failed. Quit the fanboyism…

So does Traktor 2 Duo support controllers? Because, on the NI website’s comparison chart, the feature “assignable crossfader on internal mixer” is marked as “fixed” and the other feature “Sync w/ MASCHINE & other performance tools” is unchecked. I am wondering weather I can map my MIDI controller (Mixtrack Pro) and the one I am going to buy (Denon DN sc-2000), ’cause I’ve never used Traktor, but I don’t want to buy Pro, Duo will be fine for my needs if it can be used with MIDI controllers.

Almost the same as the above poster, I own-use AKG’s K518 DJ. Compared to the cheap/no-name ones I used previously, they are awesome. Sound quality is good, bass is strong, and, even though they are quite stiff on the head, they suit my kinda small ears. Also, I find the pads on them quite comfortable, but your ears do get hot. One thing I don’t like is their not-so-long cord. Lack of pad at the headband is a drawback, too, as my head hurts after prolonged use. Overall, very good for their price point, though.
