    Ok so 2.1 seems to be fine for me with my S4. Set up my EVO5 yesterday and I was having issues with CUP on deck B only. Checked my mappings and rebooted both MBP & Traktor but still no go. So I went back to 2.0.3 and no issues but I am having audio drop outs with the EVO5. Gonna do more searching but I just ran it 2 hrs with Wifi off and no issues. Need to do more testing.

    this is the main reason i have windows 7 installed on my mac! I’m always going back to T&R!

    Im not too crazy about the layout myself. I really love the S4 layout the best out of all the controllers so far. Only two things that bug me on the S4: 1) I don’t like the meters! I wish they had normal green/orange/red meters for the channels and main mix. 2) Im worried about how durable the S4 is. There seems to be problems with durability.

    The Vestax looks like a tank and using some of there old stuff they are solid!

    just had a good couple of hours with it and no problems! Im liking the new features and how they changed the smaple decks. No glitches with the FX also. MBP hardly working when running it.

    LOL easier said then done!! I thought I could do it but there’s too much I have involved with Win7 to just give it all up.

    Ok had sometime to play with the MBP, Traktor with my S4. WOW works great!! I had the latency set to the lowest possible, had 2 decks playing all sample decks looping and both FX on. Then I just started going crazy with any and everything to see if I can make it crash. All worked well!! But I did manage to crash it while I added a folder to a playlist. Screen went back but the music kept playing. Keep in mind I had other apps open and also running VMware with windows 7. Yes I can’t let go of some windows software so I installed it on my mac. This also works great! So I did a reboot with nothing else running except Traktor and my S4 no problems at all. CPU meter barely moved!

    So all in all im loving my mac! If your in need of a new laptop go mac!!! Not to say windows sucks but I see now what the hype is all about…or should I say it’s just reality?

    I have tried VDJ and other software in the past but always go back to Tracktor. It’s up to the person using the software, what they feel comfortable with. I sugest use both as demo’s b4 you buy if you can and see which u like best.

    it takes a bit to get use to the OS X Lion from win 7 but so far I’m loving it. Was setting up Traktor last night and will do the S4 tomorrow. Then it’s putting it through as much as I can to see how it all runs…….stay tuned…..

    Humm just converted to MBP and looking into something like Tag & Rename. anything new out there?
