    I bought a pair of Denon SC2900 players and they’re great! The choppiness however is still there with the key lock on but in Traktor Pro the sound is fine. I guess that software process audio better than the players. I wonder if it sounds the same on Pioneer decks.

    I recorded 3 different parts of the song 16 Days by West.K. It’s a track I bought from beatport.com and is a 320kbps mp3. The recording is about 60 seconds.

    First part is at 0%, second is -2%, and third is -2% with key lock. You can hear a huge difference on the third part.

    If you try it out and let me know how it sounds on your 2900 that would be a tremendous help. No need to record it unless you want to. I think the 1200s just don’t have a strong enough sound card to process the information.
