1) These were what i was kind of planning on with an SL2 and a numark mixer borrowed until i could get a better one, supposedly the older gemini’s are based on 1210’s in design but to a lower level of quality obviously.
2) i would say yes i can on the mixtrack and im more than happy with it and will probably stick with it for house parties etc, i just fancy trying dvs at home but would want to do so with minimal outlay as a student working only saturdays.
Would it be wiser to go down the timecode cdj route? maybe numark ndx 400 because of the usb input?
