    Agree 2 Dj Vintage! What functions of Traktor do U want to control? The Mixtrack pro is a pretty good controller. And I dont think a S2 or a Mixtrack 3 would be an upgrade to U.
    It depends on what U think U want to use most and more effective … : 4-Deck control, EFX-params, Remix-Decks …..

    A few month ago, i had recommended a few other controllers …. the Vestax Vci-400 or the Denon MC 6000 for example. But I think at the moment a NI -S4 is the best choice 4 Ur needs. Unfortunatelly all the other attractive devices are custumized for Serato. If U know a device which has a design and surface, thats more suitable to ur needs than the S4 has. And if U know if there is a really good working mapping for that device then ….
    But the S4 is the safe way …..

    In the fact, that U are not a very experienced Dj, my advise is : You should use Ur own controller.
    No one can expect, that U are bring Ur own cdjs to a gig. If the Location owns Cdjs U are able to use them, because they are similar to Ur DDJ-SR … maybe U will rent a pair of cdjs for a weekend to get a feel 4 them ….
