I don’t know anything about that, but I haven’t seen any problems. I just plug in the controller. Open Fergo, create a few midi settings; “button 1-note on-out to midi yoke 1” ,etc. then open the dj app and map it just like any other controller.
The main problem I have been dealing with is getting the joysticks to “stop” or stay at “zero”. I’m going to get a different joystick, but as a button controller, which people often find the need for, game controller are sick.FileSpnr

Any windows recognizable cantroller should work. It’s a simple process.

Easier to config the midi the way you want
Better jog performance

MemberDid you simply plug in the controller first before installing the drivers? Although it is not supposed to be true in win 7, some devices are still finicky about using the same initial usb port.

MemberYes, use the Mix/Master knob in conjunction with the headphone buttons on either side of scs4dj(middle of unit) to determine exactly what you want to hear in the headphones; ie-master out, cue-mix, or single deck being cued.

Yea, it’s certainly not the first time a game controller has been used as a DJ device, but I think once folks see how simple it is to have a button controller with something they already own, and how the game controllers ergonomics can be applied to music performance, this is gonna be the jump off year.
Imagine using the same controller (and the same hand movements with it) that we use to play video game, to mix and scratch, and yes, I said scratch.FileSpnr
